  1. The Longaberger Company laid off workers in it’s shipping department. Many of them were long-time employees. After the lay-off, the workers have been offered very low paying positions at an Exel distribution facility closer to Columbus. This was a way to cut their pay, yet still retain their expertise in shipping the Longaberger product.
