The Good News: More employers are said to be planning to hire in 2010.

The Bad News: US Fidelis in Missouri is laying off “hundreds” of workers…trucking company Carlen Transport in Maine is closing and letting go 100 people...local tech company in Rochester, NY, Performance Technologies, is laying off 20 employees… 20 police officers will be laid off from the Grand Rapids Police Department tomorrow… 3 emergency dispatcher positions are being cut at the Sangamon County Emergency Dispatch Center
