Screwed: 1,000 at Oracle

Today’s partial total: 3,782

Oracle plans to cut 1,000 jobs in Europe… Austrian Airlines is set to layoff 1,000 employees by mid-2010… CPS is laying off 557 workers… The Oxford County Council in England’s Oxford County plans to cut 500 jobs… Ford is planning to layoff 275 Louisville assembly workers, less than originally planned… Teleperformance USA is laying off 250 employees from a call center in Akron, Ohio… The Venetian, one of the big names of the Las Vegas strip, is set to 200 jobs.

  1. Thanks for the info. Don’t think this is ending any time soon. Now, the state and local governments are getting into it with tax receipts down.
