There’s more bad news for bankers Monday. Financial services companies in the U.K. could cut up to 13,000 jobs in the third quarter, according to Bloomberg. Some of those layoffs include reports that the London Stock Exchange plc is laying off staff. Other reports and rumors of layoffs around the globe are said to be happening at HSBC Holdings plc (NYSE:HBC), Integra Bancorp and Voyageur Asset Management Inc.
It’s a tough employment market for financial professionals, but there are jobs as companies are hiring. In fact, Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) and Macquarie Capital Advisory Opportunities are reported to be hiring. Here’s our pick of the day from The Deal’s Career Channel:
