Corus is set to layoff 2,000 workers…Kimberly-Clark plans to cut 1,600 jobs…Swiss engineering firm Sulzer AG intends to layoff 1,400 employees despite their high profits…The University of Minnesota has a painful new budget that will cost the jobs of 1,240 employees…Ethan Allen is set to layoff 320 workers in its Maine plant and 238 workers in Vermont…. Sears is closing its call center in Belleville, Canada, and outsourcing the 230 jobs to the Phillippines…UK firm Legal and General plans to layoff 200 employees.
