		<description>I remember before I got married a few years ago dating one fellow (a fireman) who grilled me on our second date about my credit history (?!!!).  He apparantely had had an EXTREMELY bad experience with a previous girlfriend who&#039;d lied to him before they hooked up about her finances, and then once they were together, tried to get him to shoulder some of her financial burden.  Perhaps this fellow was ahead of his time, but I think it&#039;s wise to know your dating partner&#039;s spending habits, recession or not.</description>
