I try to keep all the work stuff in the home office and not let it spill out into the home space (living room, bedroom). And vice versa. Otherwise, it's hard to relax when I see reminders of work everywhere... and it's hard to work if I see a pile of laundry around. Of course, being able to take the laptop to the kitchen table or patio once in a while is perfectly acceptable. :) The key to a good home office for me is separation of the “home” from the “office”.
