Screwed: 140 at QuadTech

In another round of layoffs, QuadTech lays off 140 employees… CSX Corp. will lay off 132 workers from its Buffalo rail yard by the end of this month… Tennessee’s Shelby County approved 100 county employee layoffs… Up to 70 union workers will be laid off by next week from U.S. Steel Corp…  The Plymouth School Committee approved a budget proposal that may force 20 employee layoffs.

  1. The “140 at QuadTech” is not accurate. QuadTech’s parent company, Quad/Graphics, announced staff reductions of 140 employees. QuadTech is one of several divisions that had layoffs, and does not account for the full 140. I don’t know the actual number, but it is a fraction of the 140.
