A period of joblessness that you actually enjoy—maybe you get to lay out, sleep in, work out, read up. It helps to have savings, severance or an unemployment check to help pay the bills. We’re hearing this word used more and more, especially as people realize they may not be able to find a new job right away, so they might as well try to enjoy the time off.
Ex: Yeah, he was upset about getting laid off, but I hear he’s traveling and totally digging funemployment.

And if the unemployed get a little hungry after all that sleeping in, reading, travel etc.. They can eat cake to get their energy back!
Funemployment is an art, a lifestyle change! Though temporary, best case scenario, this time of unemployment can be a great experience, where great things can be accomplished on the home front and it offers an opportunity for personal growth and life lessons, such as reevaluating one’s spending habits in general!
