Recession Lexicon: Homeworking

By Sara Clemence ⋅ 3:53 pm March 5, 2009 ⋅ One comment

Recession Dictionary Entry 150This term is so obvious, we’re amazed more people aren’t using it. It’s a little less of a mouthful than “working from home,” which is great for all of us who are now setting up shop in kitchens, spare bedrooms, and alcoves.

So next time your sister calls at 11 a.m., or a friend asks why you can’t go surfing on a Wednesday, you have an answer: “I’m homeworking.”
