screws2HSBC, Europe’s biggest bank, is cutting 6,100 jobs…American Airlines plans to “furlough” 410 flight attendants if it can’t get enough to volunteers to leave their jobs…Timken, a bearings plant in South Carolina, will leave 60 jobless…the Buffalo News may fire 52 employees…Colorado State University is letting 50 go.
