Japanese electronics giant NEC Corp. will cut 20,000 workers worldwide…with sales down 24%, Eastman Kodak said it plans for 3,500 to 4,500 more layoffsMorgan Stanley is considering laying off up to 5% of its 47,000 employees and Goldman Sachs is pondering cuts…Hitachi, the world’s third largest maker of hard drives, will slash an unspecified number of its  400,000 employees…Disney eliminated 200 positions at ABC.
